ELECTRONIC CONTROLLED GAS VALVE AND METHOD An electronic controlled gas valve and method are provided for regulating a gas flow rate to maintain a desired gas flow rate under varying operating conditions. A single valve disc opens and closes both the main gas supply seat and the regulator gas supply seat in response to signals provided by a programmable microprocessor control. A manual on-off valve is provided for manually terminating the flow of gas through the gas valve, and includes a meltable manual switch that melts at a predetermined temperature to allow the manual valve to close.
