PURPOSE:To make small the linking part between an optical fiber and an electronic device, by containing an electro-photo conversion element to one plug itself linking the optical fiber to the electronic device and an optical-electric conversion element and an amplifying element to another plug. CONSTITUTION:Only a light emitting diode 8 which is an electro-optical conversion element is contained in a plug itself 12 to which one terminal of an optical fiber transmission line 1 is inserted and fixed by opposion to the end of the line 1, to constitute an electro-optical conversion section. A photodiode 9 being an optical- electro conversion element, an amplifier 10 amplifying this conversion signal, and a feedback resistor R4 are contained to another plug itself 13 of the line 1 to constitute the optical-electric conversion section. The connection with electronic devices is made via electric terminals 14, 14a, 15, 15a-15c. Thus, the size of linking part can be made small. |
