PURPOSE:To facilitate the registering of an achromatic color resin varnish, by a method wherein the achromatic color resin varnish containing some components constituting a combination color developer system is reacted, to develop color, with a base coating layer containing the residual components of the color developer system previously applied to the register printing position. CONSTITUTION:A primary printing pattern is printed on a printing substrate, and registers are printed at the register formed position in the margin of the printed position. Then, a base coating ink in which a color developer, a developer and 1-2 components selected from the solvents thereof have been dispersed is applied to the register forming position in solid, spot and stripe printing manner in order to provide registers for an achromatic color resin varnish pattern printing. Then, an achromatic color resin varnish which aligns with the primary printing pattern and contains the residual components of the color developer system of said base coating ink is printed on the primary printing pattern, as well as registers are printed at the register forming position, and the base coating ink and the components in the varnish are contacted with each other to develop the registers. |
