PURPOSE:To improve the sense of presence of a conference talking using a both-ear receiver by setting up the position of a sound image in a previously determined direction in each other side speaker when one of other side speakers sends a call, and when plural other side speakers simultaneously send calls, applying expanded sense to the sound images. CONSTITUTION:When one of other side speakers sends a call, the position of its sound image is set up in the previously determined direction in each speaker, but when plural other side speakers simultaneously send calls, expanding sense is applied to their sound images by a sound image expanding sense application control circuit 5. The circuit 5 shifts the phase of an input signal by a phase shifter 21, subtracts the output of the phase shifter 21 from the input signal by an adder 22r and adds the output of the shifter 21 to the input signal by an adder 22l. Consequently, sound expanded sense can be obtained and a natural conference atmosphere can be formed by using the headphone type both-ear receiver. |
