PURPOSE:To extremely reduce the inclination angle in magnetizing direction, and to obtain excellent demagnetization yield strength by a method wherein, when the coercive force in the second quadrant on the B-H curve of magnetic characteristics, after performance of sintering operation and heat treatment, is set at bHc in an Nd(R)-Fe-B permanent magnet, the absolute value at the point of inflection on the 4piI-H curve in the second quadrant is made larger than the absolute value of 1.3XbHc. CONSTITUTION:When the coercive force in the second quadrant on the B-H curve of magnetic characteristics after sintering and heat treatment, is set at bHc in the Nd(R)-Fe-B permanent magnet mainly composed of Nd or Nd and at least a kind of other rare-earth element R, Fe and B, and containing an additive element to be used; the absolute value of the point of inflection on the 4piI-H curve in the second quadrant should be larger than the absolute value of 1.3XbHc. When the length of the short side of the two sides against the thickness in anisotropic direction after sintering is set at (w), the ratio of w/t should be within the range of 0.5 to 15. |
