<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a setup space for a production line by installing a work space between both first and second machine tools, where each work objective member is set up at each symmetrical side, composing a set, and installing these plural sets side by side. CONSTITUTION:A machining center MR on one side is provided with a lubricat ing system tank and a pump 3 as well as a hydraulic system tank and a pump plus a valve 4 at its right side, having them standardized, and machine operation and work for inspection, repair or the like can be done only from the right side of the machine. On the other hand, a machining center ML on the other, centrally setting up all work objective members at the left of the machine and standardizing them all, can be done with these operations only from the left side of the machine. A common work space S1 is installed in an interval between two types of these standardized machining centers MR1, ML1, making them into a set, and plural sets of them are set side by side along a work conveyor 20. The work space for tool changes, machine inspections, repairs and the like for these two machine tools is combined at one spot, so that floor space for a production line is reducible.</p> |
