PURPOSE:To efficiently form a powdery raw material into a cylindrical body by arranging a weighing ring housing the powdery raw material therein between a top piston housing an upper forming blade frame and a bottom piston housing a lower forming blade frame, sprinkling water and vertically moving both the pistons. CONSTITUTION:A weighing ring in which a powdery raw material is weighed and housed is arranged between an elevating type top piston 202 housing an upper forming blade frame 203 equipped with plural embossing upper blades (203A) in a row side by side and a bottom piston 222 housing a lower forming blade frame 225 provided with plural embossing lower blades 226. The powdery raw material is then sprinkled with water and hydrated. The top piston 202 is subsequently lowered to pressurize the powdery raw material. The top piston 202 is then lifted and further lowered to emboss the raw material with the blade frame 203. The bottom piston 222 is subsequently lifted to press the embossed raw material. The top piston 202 is relowered to separate respective pieces of the embossed raw material with the upper blades (203A). |
