PURPOSE:To eliminate the seizing damage of a driving source, motor, when the device is continuously operated, by detecting the passage of a laver sheet with a detector disposed slightly above both the sides of a roll and controlling the supply of an electric current to the motor for driving the roll. CONSTITUTION:A sheet-like raw laver is loaded on a laver guide plate 2 and slid and charged into a feeding opening 25 for the laver. IR rays passing between IR ray-emitting members section 21, 22 and IR ray-receiving members 23, 24 are shielded with the sheet laver and a motor is driven through a controller 34. The charged sheet laver is nipped with a driving roller 9 and a driven roller 19 and carried between a guide and a reflective plate in a cooking chamber 3. The sheet laver is heated and roasted with a far IR ray heater and a reflective plate and subsequently discharged from a discharging opening 2 with a driving roller 2 (11) and a driven roller 2 (20). Since the IR ray-passing section is not shielded so long as the sheet laver is discharged and a new sheet laver is charged, the motor is not driven with the action of the controller 34. |
