The weft measuring feeder comprises a time gear 96) transmitting a motor (1) power to other time gear (7) through gears (2-5), time belts (8,9) transmitting the time gears, (6,7) power to wheels' (13,14) time gears (11,12), a slide bar (16) for horizontally moving the wheel (14), a disc senser (25) with slits (23) interlocking with the wheel (13), a wheel rotation sensor generating pulse signal by controlling photo diode light through the slits, a counter controlling the length of the weft fed to a weaving machine through a yarn guide, a drum sensor generating the weft feeding signal, and solenoids (19,20) for horizontally moving the wheel (14) by actuating plungers (17a,b) according to the output signals of the drum sensor and counter.
