The method connects circular crosssectioned thin tubes such as stainless steel tubes and the like. The method includes the steps of: forming annular grooves (11) in a tube connector in a symmetrical form; forming annular projections (2) in tubes (7) to be connected; inserting the tubes (7) into the grooves (11) of the tube connector; and pressing the connected portion so as for the connected portion of the tubes to be deformed in such a manner as to be securely fixed together. Further an elastic ring (5) is fitted to an elastic groove (4) formed on the outer side of the connected portion, thereby further reinforcing the strength of the connection of the tubes.
