SELECTING CIRCUIT OF EIA/SAMPTE COLOR BAR

The circuit generates SMPTE color bars by utilizing EIA color bar generating custom IC. An inverse color bar line selecting section includes a counter for counting vertical blanking signals for every unit period of camera vertical blanking pulses. Further, an inverse color bar line selecting section outputs selecting signals for inverse color bar scanning lines and pedestal level lines. An inverse color bar signal generating section computes the color bar signals of an EIA color bar custom IC, before outputting the signals in the form of SMPTE inverse color bar signals. A set-up signal generating section outputs pedestal level signals, by making two AND gates logic-multiply the pedestal line selecting signals.
