摘要

A method for preparing L-phenylalanine methylester HCl in white crystalline form comprises reacting L-phenylalanine with excess amount of methanol in the presence of a catalyst, removing methanol from the prepared L-phenylalanine methylester HCl-methanol soln., recrystallyzing the obtd. cpd. by using 1:1 mixture solvent of toluene and a solvent selected from methylethylketone, methylisobutylketone or a mixture of them.
