The invention relates to a femoral cutting guide intended for carrying out the osseous resections necessary for positioning various knee prostheses. This guide consists principally of a forceps (30), formed by a plate (31) at the base of which are fixed spoons (71) of adjustable spacing and lateral positioning, and in the middle of which is formed a grooved bore in which a pivot (40) is mounted, this pivot comprising, towards its base, a drilling guide orifice (41) and graduations, at the other end an orifice (42) for the passage of a removable guide rod (6) and, towards its centre, a horizontal cutting guide (47) on which is mounted a sensor arm (48). A vertical cutting guide (50) slides, with respect to the pivot (40), in a mortise (49) formed radially in the latter. The plate (31) of the forceps (30) comprises cutting guide grooves (314, 315 and 316). Application: bone surgery. <IMAGE>
