This box comprises a casing (1), formed from a single sheet cut out flat in such a way as to delimit four external walls (2a...2d) separated by folding lines, four internal walls (4a...4d) each of which is extended by a junction connection with an associated external wall, the two walls being able to be folded along their respective junctions with the connection and the latter also having an intermediate folding line (15, 16, 17, 18) between its lines of junction (6, 7, 8, 9 ... 12, 14) with the two associated walls, and at least two (2b-2d) of the external walls are extended, on the side opposite the internal walls (4b, 4d), by flaps which can be folded one upon the other in order to form the external wall of the bottom of the casing. The lid (48) is made from a sheet cut out and folded in such a way as to delimit a double wall. Rigid polyurethane foam is injected under low pressure between the double walls of the box body and of the lid. This box is much more economical than the known boxes in which foam injected under high pressure is used. <IMAGE>
