PURPOSE:To reduce the amt. of a binder used and to simply mix fine ceramic powder with the binder by mixing fine powder of an inorg. material with fibrillated fibers and press-formed the mixture. CONSTITUTION:An aggregate of fine particles of a natural inorg. material or an artificially produced inorg. material is prepd. so that the particle size is preferably made as small as possible, 100pts. wt. of this fine powder is mixed with >=0.5 pt. wt. fibrillated fibers which are usually pulp used for paper making in the paper industry and the mixture is press-formed under several to several hundred kg/cm<2> pressure. |
