PURPOSE:To prevent any surrounding water leakage and a thermal deformation around an electrical heater even if a damper shows an abnormal state by a method wherein an air conditioner is provided with a position sensing means for sensing a position of the damper and a control means for controlling an electrical energization for the damper and a compressing part which are integrated with each other. CONSTITUTION:As a cold air feeding operation is started, a damper energization time measuring timer is reset, and then a damper driving relay 12b is closed, the first damper 12 is electrically energized and rotated. A claw 18 rotated in cooperation with the first damper 12 gradually closes a micro-switch 19 to transmit it to a control means 21 that the first damper 21 comes to its normal position. The normal position is determined, an electrical energization for the first damper 12 is suspended and the first damper 12 is stopped at its normal position. The control means 12 always measures an electrical energization time of the first damper 12. In the event that the first damper 12 can not move an its abnormal position, it is judged that the electrical energization time is a set time T1 or more and then the compressor 21 is stopped. |
