发明名称 METHOD AND CATALYST FOR DENITRIFICATION OF EXHAUST GAS
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent acid ammonium sulfate from being deposited on the surface of a catalyst layer and contrive a catalytic denitrification treatment with a high degree of efficiency by a method wherein the exhaust gas with a denitrification chemical added thereto is brought into contact with a denitrification catalyst at a predetermined reaction temp. to set the surface temp. of the denitrification catalyst at a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:A denitrification chemical (e.g. ammonia) is added to exhaust gas by a denitrification chemical supply device 3 provided between a dust collector 7 and a denitrification equipment 2. This exhaust gas is brought into contact with a denitrification catalyst body 15 provided in the denitrification equipment 2 at a predetermined reaction temp. The surface temp. of the denitrification catalyst body 15 is set at a predetermined value by a heat producing means 9 (e.g. nichrome wire heater) provided within a catalyst layer 8 (e.g. titanium oxide layer) having a number of air holes. As a result, acid ammonium sulfate is prevented from being deposited on the surface of the catalyst and a highly efficient catalytic denitrification treatment becomes possible.
