PURPOSE:To ensure the adhesion of decorative film to the surface of a molded item by a method wherein urethane resin is poured between an air-permeable porous mold, onto the molding surface of which synthetic resin film having smooth surface is sucked, and another mold so as to produce a foam-molded item in order to remove the resin film and form decorative film in place of the resin film. CONSTITUTION:As an upper mold 11, which produces the rear surface side form of a urethane resin molded item 1, non-air-permeable mold is used. A lower mold 21, which produces the front surface side form of the item 1 consists of an air-permeable porous mold 22, a supporting frame 23, which hermetically supports the periphery of the rear surface of the mold 22 and a bottom plate 25. A connecting pipe 26 on the frame 23 is connected to a vacuumizing device. Just above the porous mold 22, synthetic resin film 6, which has smooth surface and is brought in plasticized state by heating, is set. Further, releasant 15 is applied on the molding surface 12 of the upper mold 11. After the film 6 is vacuum-sucked onto a molding surface 27 by evacuating the rear side of the mold 22, the upper mold 11 and the lower mold 21 are clamped together and, after that, urethane resin is poured in a cavity 30 so as to produce a foam-molded item 1. Next, the molded item 1 is released from the molds and the film 6 is removed and then decorative film 3 having smooth surface is produced on the surface 7, from which the film 6 is removed. |
