The system of hinges (6) between the table top (1) and the seat (4a and 4b) consists of tubular U members (20) hinged to the table top (1) and to each seat (4a and 4b) respectively. Each leg (5) consists of two tubular U members (31, 32) hinged to each other at point (33) by their flanges (31c and 32c), the other flange of the member (31) being hinged to the seat (4a or 4b), while the other flange of the second member (32) is free and engages with a fastening lug fastened to the seat (4a and 4b) when the leg (5) is opened out. <IMAGE>
