The method for dyeing a film is characterized by forming a bubble layer on the dyeing soln. composed of a surfactant by the motion of the bubble-generating device, immersing a shielding part of the film in the soln. of the dyeing tank, dyeing the dyeing boundary with the bubble of the bubble layer, dipping the undyed perspective part of the film into the soln., and washing the dyed fim. The method is used for the dyeing a polyvinyl butylal film on the glass for cars.
