<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the outflow of untreated exhaust gases into a chimney by permitting controlling of the flow rate in a branch flow passage which performs exhaust gas treatment in accordance with the change in the exhaust gas flow rate when it changes abruptly in an exhaust gas flow passage of the chimney or the like provided with said branch flow passage. CONSTITUTION:When an exhaust gas flow rate changes abruptly, the detection value detected with an exhaust gas flow rate detector 8 is corrected by a change rate limiter 20, a subtractor 21, an upper or lower limiter 22 (23) and an adder 24 and is outputted as a set slight increase signal of increased safety factor. A treated gas flow rate controller 10 operates to regulate the degree of opening of a damper 6 in such a way that this set value equals to the detection signal of an inlet gas flow rate detector 9 of an exhaust gas treating device inlet operated by a comparing coefft. device 11. Thereby, the flow rate of the exhaust gas treating device is increased to a flow rate of increased safety factor.</p> |
