PURPOSE:To obtain a recording medium excellent in preservability and stability in a process forming and erasing a desired pattern region, a developing process, a transfer process or the like by forming a region showing the sweepback contact angle corresponding to heating temp. to the surface of a recording material and developing the latent image thereof. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium A is selectively heated in such a state that the surface thereof is brought into contact with a contact material B or the recording medium A is brought into contact with the contact material B in such a state that the surface thereof is selectively heated to form a region showing the sweepback contact angle corresponding to heating temp. to the surface of the recording medium A and, thereafter, the latent image thereof is developed. When the surface of the recording medium A having the latent image formed thereto is heated in the absence of the contact material B, the latent image can be erased and an image can be reversibly formed. |
