Device intended to facilitate the gripping of a safety belt of a vehicle by hand. This device includes a motor fixed to the relevant upright of the vehicle, which motor drives a rigid rod. This rod ends in a loop of suitable shape, which in turn drives the belt so as to present the latter approximately 25 cm further forward, facilitating gripping by hand.
