Electric blower for circulating a gaseous fluid comprising a peripheral compressor with two stages connected in series, including a single rotor (16) the opposing two circular faces of which carry blading (20) rotating in two annular chambers (22) which are symmetric to one another with respect to the rotor and separated in leaktight fashion from one another.
