A mobile telecommunication terminal, for example a hand-held mobile telephone which contains a hand-operated dynamo as power supply. This makes the device independent of batteries or, after failure of the battery, an emergency operation can be maintained. The hand-operated dynamo is preferably driven by means of a toothed rod which is moved via an operating lever protruding from the side wall of the device.
