A longitudinally adjustable boot retention apparatus for short skis, snowboards or crampons is proposed which has a base with two lateral parts each lying in one plane which are provided with drilled holes into which bent- over leg ends of clamping parts 4, 5 for the boot can be suspended. In order to enable the clamping parts to be adjusted in a simple manner in the longitudinal direction of the base, it is proposed that the drilled holes 2 extend from at least one lateral part obliquely to the plane thereof. If the clamping part is twisted through approximately 180 degree relative to its clamping position, one bent-over leg end extends approximately along the longitudinal axis of the drilled hole, so that, by compression of the two leg ends of the clamping part, these can be released from the drilled holes. Instead of drilled holes, perforations may also be provided, some of which are limited by a stamped-out portion extending obliquely to the lateral part. <IMAGE> |
