<p>PURPOSE:To form the magnetic stripe of an IC card by embedding a magnetic tape in a thermoplastic resin layer and bonding the thermoplastic resin layer to a non-magnetic metal plate having a printing layer on the surface thereof under heating and pressure through a thermosetting adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:Desired printing 2 is applied to a non-magnetic metal plate, for example, a stainless steel plate 1. Next, a thermoplastic transfer magnetic tape 4 is temporaily bonded to a transparent thermoplastic resin layer, for example, a vinyl chloride resin sheet 3 at a desired position and, subsequently, a PET film 7 is peeled off from a silicone applied surface. A buffer material 52, a mirror surface processed metal plate 62 and a buffer material 53 are lami nated to the PVC sheet 3 in this order and the thermoplastic transfer magnetic tape 4 is bonded to the PVC sheet 3 under heating and pressure. Next, the PVC sheet 3 is bonded to the stainless steel plate 1 having the printing layer 2 applied thereto but a urethane type thermosetting adhesive is applied to the rear of the PVC sheet 3 and a buffer material 51, the stainless steel plate 1, the PVC sheet 3, the buffer material 52, the mirror surface processed metal plate 62 and the buffer material 53 are successively laminated to be bonded under heating and pressure.</p> |
