Unsaturated ethers are obtained by telomerizing, in the presence of palladium compounds and phosphine derivates, conjugated dienes and polyhydroxy compounds selected from the group comprising: a) self-condensation products of glycerin and b) ring-opening products of olefin epoxides with water or alcohols. These ethers are suitable for the preparation of surface-active agents.
