PURPOSE:To allow a handle member to be held in a stable position without rattling by forming a guide member for guiding the handle member into wide channel section, and fitting the fitting part of the handle member at this guide member so as to connect a release cable to the tip of the fitting part. CONSTITUTION:This release handle device 20 used for a foot operated parking brake device or the like is formed of a guide member 30 of channel section provided with a wide flat part 31, and a handle member 40 provided with a sliding part 41 inserted slidably into the guide member 30. The guide member 30 is provided with a guiding bent part 32 of approximately C-shaped section, and the sliding part 41 of the handle member 40 is held by the bent part 32 and flat part 31. The handle member 40 is formed of the fitting part 41 inserted slidably into the guide member 30, and a grip part 43, and a connecting part 44 for locking the end fitting 25 of the inner cable 22 of a release cable 21 is provided at the tip part of the handle member 40. |
