发明名称 PROBE FOR SUPERCONDUCTING QUANTUM INTERFERENCE DEVICE FLUXMETER
摘要 PURPOSE:To measure an X- and a Y-directional magnetic field gradient at an accurate position by a linear differential plane type gradiometer by equipping the probe, which holds the superconducting quantum interference element, with a rotating function. CONSTITUTION:An (O) ring 7 is used for the joint part between the probe 5 and a flange 6 to prevent gaseous He from leaking and contact structure is formed to prevent a rotary shaft from deviating. Grooves 8 which serve as stoppers are formed on the side of the flange 6 at intervals of 90 deg. and, fixed projections which enter and exit from the grooves are provided on the probe side and marked. Structure like this is formed to stop the probe each time it rotates by 90 deg.. A nonmagnetic material, e.g. brass is used. Arrows are provided on the probe side so that the directions of two detection coils are known, and the mutually orthogonal X- and Y-directional magnetic field gradients can accurately be measured.
