An adjustable scaffolding for sloping surfaces, particularly a straight or spiral staircase, comprises an element such as a work platform (2) for supporting a person working on said scaffolding. The scaffolding includes a horizontal frame (3) having attached thereto, at three points forming the three vertices (A, B, C) of an equilateral triangle, the upper ends of three legs (4, 5, 6) extending below the frame (3), as well as a platform support (7) which is rotatably mounted above the frame (3) for rotation thereon and around a vertical axis (z, z') which passes through the centre of gravity (0) of the equilateral triangle (ABC) defined by the upper ends of the three legs (4, 5, 6). |
