摘要 The regeneratively working fluid cannon (10) has a pump piston (16) delivering fluid propellant from a pump chamber (12) to a gas chamber (14), and during the filling process of the pump chamber (12) the pump locates tightly at its rear end against the gas chamber. For introduction of an injection process in the gas chamber, the piston is moved by a start charge. Between the gas and pump chambers, is a separate pre-chamber (22) which can be filled with fluid propellant via the pump chamber. After an ignition process has occurred in the pre-chamber during the start movement of the pump piston (16), an opening is made from the pre-chamber into the gas chamber, and then, on a time delay basis, an opening is made from the pump chamber to the pre-chamber. Ignition electrodes (28) are fitted in the pre-chamber. USE - As an ignition arrangement for a fluid cannon injector system.
