Asphalt bonding material dosing arrangement - has receptacle with plunger piston actuated by double action hydraulic cylinder

The arrangement for dispensing asphalt bonding material contains a vol. dosing arrangement with a receptacle (6) for the material in the pipe run between a bonding material reservoir and an asphalt mixing mechanism or similar. The receptacle (6) has a plunger piston (7) movable into and out of it by a double-action hydraulic cylinder (9) with an electronic displacement sensor (11). The sensor is connected to an evaluation electronic circuit for displacement dependent control of the piston during the dispensing process. USE/ADVANTAGE - Dispenser, esp. for supplying asphalt mixing system, is improved to achieve rapid accurate dosing with energy efficient temp. regulation.
