<p>Antibody, or its fragments, specifically recognizing the transglutaminase-induced Nε-(η-glutamyl)-lysine isopeptide formed between the η-carboxamide group of a glutamine residue in a protein, and the ε-NH¿2? group of a lysine residue which is free or in a protein, and the η-carboxyl group of glutamic acid which is free or in a protein. An immunogen consisting of the N?ε¿-(η-glutamyl)-lysine isopeptide is also described, as are the diagnostic and therapeutic uses thereof.</p> |
