The cutter is used for removing the adhesive binding from car windows. It consists of a handle with cutting blades (9) which are offset. The blades (9) are parallel to, and at right angles to the window, and in cross-section are box like with both ends sharpened so that the cutting tool can be worked backwards and forwards. Above the blades (9) towards the handle (8) is a pair of guide rollers (13) on holder arms (12), and the underside of the rollers (13) is at the same distance or greater from the blade (9) upper edge (16) as the window thickness. USE/ADVANTAGE - The adhesive binding on a vehicle window is cut back to a degree which allows a new mounting to be fitted.
