A system and method of managing failover network traffic is disclosed. In one form, a method of managing network traffic can include accessing a failover policy of a plurality of network interface controllers, and detecting a failover event of at least one of the plurality of network interface controllers. The method can also include identifying a first network traffic using the failover policy, and enabling communication of the first network traffic using a non-failed network interface controller of the plurality of network interface controllers.
