<p>The present invention relates to an electronic auxiliary contact for a contactor, said auxiliary contact comprising at least one switch element (6) controllable to the ON and OFF states for the purpose of indicating the position of the contact bridging member in said contactor (2), and a switch-activating element (3) mechanically connected to said contact bridging member and capable of activating said switch element (6). According to the invention, said switch-activating element (3) incorporates at least one activating element (7, 9), and said switch-activating element (3) makes no mechanical contact with said switch element (6).
