A socket adaptor for a pack-type battery of a portable phone is provided to enable the pack-type battery of the unified standard to be mounted and used in portable phones having various sizes. A socket adaptor(200) for a battery comprises a square socket receiving unit(220), a socket connection terminal and an adaptor power source(232). The receiving socket portion is formed in the same size as that of a pack-type battery(100) at the inner side of an adaptor body(210). The socket connection terminal can draw out the power by being connected to a battery power supply stage(110) at one sidewall of the receiving socket portion. The adaptor power source is electrically connected to with the socket connection terminal at the outer surface of the adaptor body.
