Filled baked goods formed pref. as longish baked articles, have a layer, surrounding a cavity, pref. of baked material, jacketted with an outer coating of yeast dough, permanently attached to this. The cavity is filled with a filling, esp. an unbakeable, pasty and/or comminuted or foamed edible material. Pref. material, rendered spongy with steam, is shaped into an elongated core, which is jacketted with a yeast dough which completely encloses the core, the shaped dough is left for 20-45 mins., and is baked at 210-230 deg.C, cooled, and filled. The dough shape may be formed mechanically or manually. The dough may be a dough for bread rolls or a sweet dough. ADVANTAGE - The snack can be eaten without soiling the hands or clothes, remains fresh for an adequate length of time, and can contain various pasty and/or comminuted fillings. |
