PURPOSE:To distribute a video signal not only to plural reception sections but also to attain the communication between the reception sections by providing optical multiplexers and an optical demaltiplexers on an optical coupler side and the reception section of an output optical fiber, thereby applying wavelength multiplexing/demultiplexing to the video signal and a signal with a different wavelength from that of the video signal for between the reception sections. CONSTITUTION:A video signal transmitted at a wavelength lambda1 is branched into plural output optical fibers 5(1), 5(2)... 5(N) by a photocoupler 4 and transmitted to reception sections 6(1), 6(2)..., 6(N) through each output optical fiber. Optical multiplexers and demultiplexers 7(1), 7(2)..., 7(N) and 8(1), 8(2)..., 8(N) are provided on an optical coupler and a video signal and a signal between reception sections communicated with a wavelength 2lambda(lambda2not equal to lambda1) are multiplexed/ branched. The communication between the reception sections is implemented via an exchanging section 9. |
