PURPOSE:To prepare the subject laver, etc., having excellent taste and flavor and useful as a topping material, etc., by drying an edible sea weed such as laver, finely cutting the dried sea weed and subsequently roasting the cut sea week with a heater such as a halogen lamp radiating near IR rays in a heating chamber controlled at a low temperature. CONSTITUTION:An edible sea weed such as laver, WAKAME (a sea weed), AOSA (sea lettuce) or tangle is dried in an original alga state and finely cut, e.g. into a length of approximately 1 cm for CHAZUKE (boiled rice with tea). The fine pieces of the sea weed having a water content of approximately 5-10% are roasted with a heater such as a halogen lamp radiating near IR rays in a heating chamber controlled at a relatively low temperature to provide the objective laver, etc. |
