NEW MATERIAL:A DNA fragment containing a purine nucleoside phosphorylase gene derived from a thermostable bacterium belonging to the genus Bacillus, having a restriction endonuclease cleavage map shown by the formula (size is about 2.4 kb). USE:Preparation of purine nucleoside phosphorylase. PREPARATION:A chromosome of a thermostable bacterium belonging to the genus Bacillus is decomposed with a proper restriction enzyme. |
