The magnetic pump comprises a hollow cylinder (2) with inlets (3.1, 3.2) and outlets (4.1, 4.2) containing a drop (1) of a ferromagnetic powder. The latter is displaced within the cylinder (2) via a permanent magnet system (5) and an electromagnetic coil (6) respectively providing a stationary magnetic field and a variable magnetic field with a higher field strength. Pref. a ferromagnetic core is provided at the center of the ferromagnetic powder drop (1). USE - For circulation or dosing of aggressive medium.
