Leather of shoes etc. is cleaned by a brush having a head of synthetic rubber fixed to the handle. The head is fixed directly to the handle without intermediate supports, typically by injection-moulding. The handle is pref. of plastic, particularly polystyrol or polypropylene, or alternatively wood. There can be a plate-type supporting portion on the handle for the wood. ADVANTAGE - Low cost and simplicity of manufacture.
