A bile acid secretagogue comprising as an active ingredient a protein with an amino acid sequence which is common to human elastase IIIB, human protease E of a molecular species, human elastase IIIA, human protease E of another molecular species, and subunit III of bovine procarboxypeptidase A. It has an excellent effect of stimulating secretion of bile acid and is effective in preventing and treating arteriosclerosis. |
