PURPOSE: To obtain a labor-saving insecticidal or insecticidal and fungicidal composition capable of controlling various blights and noxious insects of rice such as rice blast, sheath blight, planthoppers, leafhoppers and pyralid moth at the same time by using a hydrazine derivative in combination with another compound such as buprofezin. CONSTITUTION: This composition is composed of a known hydrazine derivative expressed by the formula and having highest insecticidal action on noxious insects of Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, etc., in combination with 1-10 pts.wt. (based on 1 pt.wt. of the hydrazine derivative) of one or more compounds selected from 2-t-butylimino-3-isopropyl-5-phenyl-3,4,5,6-tetrahydro-2H-1,3,5-thiadi azin-4-one effective for noxious insects of rice such as brown planthopper, diisopropyl-1,3- dithiolan-2-ylidene malonate exhibiting excellent effect on sheath blight of rice andα,α,α-trifluoro-3'-isopropoxy-o-toluanilide exhibiting excellent controlling effect on rice blast. |
