PURPOSE:To restrain engine output at the time of deceleration by providing a conduit pipe for guiding traveling wind on an inlet box of an engine intake side, positioning an inlet of the conduit pipe in the rear of a front fender, and varying the open area of the inlet by the up and down motion of the rear portion of the front fender. CONSTITUTION:In a two-cycle engine E of a motorcycle, a suction box 8 is provided above the engine E, and the upper portion of each suction pipe 6 faces to the interior of the suction box 8. The rear end of a conduit pipe 10 is fitted to the upper portion of the front of the suction box 8, and the conduit pipe 10 is extended forward. In this case, however, the front opening 10a is positioned in the rear of a fender 4. A rising portion 4a is formed on the rear end of the front fender 4, and the rising position 4a has a larger area than the front opening 10a of the conduit pipe 10. At the time of deceleration, when the front portion of a car body sinks, the front opening 10a of the conduit pipe 10 is blocked by the rising portion 4a, whereby the traveling wind is checked from flowing therein so as to decrease the engine output. |
