Each vehicle is provided respectively with a switch or key (T1, T2) for the emergency interruption. Upon operation, the voltage supplies in the other vehicles are correspondingly capable of being interrupted. Each vehicle has an electrical circuit with the associated switch or key of this vehicle, such that the electrical circuits of the vehicles are coupled with each other in series. With operation of the switch or key of any vehicle, and thus an interruption of the voltage supply, the voltage supplies in the other vehicle can be interrupted in the manner of a chain reaction, by the associated electrical circuits. The system is only operated if the interruption circuits as well the voltage supplies in the individual vehicles have been activated beforehand by the operation of a response switch or key (QT).
