PURPOSE:To enhance the charging/discharging energy efficiency by furnishing partition plates in an electrolyte storage tank, and thereby forming a passage for electrolyte leading from return holes to exhaust holes. CONSTITUTION:An electrolyte storage tank according to the present invention comprises exhaust hole 20, 23 for exhausting electrolyte out of electrolyte storage tanks 3, 4 to the battery cell 2, return holes 21, 24 to receive the electrolyte which is fed back into the tanks 3, 4 from the battery cell 2, and partition plates 22, 25 for forming a passage for electrolyte leading from the return holes 21, 24 to the exhaust holes 20, 23. Because the electrolyte fed back to the tanks 3, 4 from the battery cell 2 reaches the exhaust holes 20, 23 via this passage, there is no risk of the electrolyte being mixed within the tanks to become unseparated solution. Thereby the charge/discharge energy efficiency can be enhanced. |
