PURPOSE:To manufacture a superior bonding jig for heat fusion joining fit for flexible piping by providing a cylindrical body consisting of two semicylindrical bodies, making the inner periphery of one-half of the cylindrical body in the cylindrical direction fit for a flexible synthetic resin tube and the inner periphery of the other half to a flexible synthetic resin joint to be fusion bonded with the tube by providing a proper clamping means between both semicylindrical bodies. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical body 1 consists of two half cylindrical bodies 11 and 12 forming almost semicylinders having arcs slightly shorter than semicircle, and one half 13 in the cylindrical direction of inner periphery is made fit for the outer diameter of a polybutene tube A to be fusion bonded, and the other half 14 is made fit for the outer diameter of a polybutene joint B to be fusion bonded. A joining section of the polybutene tube A and the polybutene resin joint B to be fusion bonded together is heat melted and both are fitted together. At that time, as the bonding section is tapered and is likely to slip off, a joining jig is fitted outside of the joining section quickly. The two open semi cylindrical bodies 11 and 12 are fitted over the outside of the bonding section of the polybutene tube A and the joint B fitted together crossing both, and the semicylindrical bodies 11 and 12 are brought into contact with the polybutene tube A and the joint B by operating the clamping means 2. |
